7. Sharing Information with Others
We may share information with carefully selected service providers where necessary to operate our business, including:

We share only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
Where external processors act on our behalf, we seek appropriate contractual and technical data protection safeguards.

Some technology providers may process or access personal information outside Iceland and the European Economic Area.
Where such transfers take place, we will use legally recognised transfer mechanisms and appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data protection law.
Further information about relevant safeguards may be requested using the contact details above.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Enquiry records, ceremony planning materials, contractual documents, and financial records may have different retention periods.
Financial documentation is retained as required by applicable law.
Personal stories and ceremony preparation materials will not be retained indefinitely without an appropriate purpose.
Enquiries that do not result in a booking are retained for up to 12 months after the last substantive contact. Personal stories and ceremony preparation materials are retained for up to 12 months after the ceremony, then reviewed for deletion or anonymisation unless a specific legal obligation or unresolved dispute requires longer retention. Contractual and financial records are retained for the periods required by applicable law. These are retention rules managed by Vé Collective; they do not imply an automatic deletion system.

Non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies will only be used where legally permitted, including obtaining consent where required.
